Double-Decker Alphabet Bus

Travelling in order from A to Z, read one book per letter where EITHER the author's, or main character's first and last name, or two words in the title (prepositions A, An & The not counted), begin with the same letter.
So the double letter has to be in the one place; the title OR the series / author/ character name. Not one of each. That's only allowed for the QuickStops. (Q, U, V, X and Z). These "quick stops" are where Q, U, V, X, and Z, will allow the two letters to be taken ANYWHERE from the title, main characters, series or author's name.

eg.
Regular letters:
A- Atlantis Awakening by Alyssa Day
B- Bad Blood by Kristen Painter
C- Christie Craig, author: Shut Up and Kiss Me
QuickStops:
Q- Just Like Heaven: Smythe-Smith Quartet series by Julia Quinn
or
Quicksilver by Amanda Quick

Duration: January 1st, 2013 to December 31st, 2013

Oh I changed it I wasn't sure, but if I read it first i'll use it. I'm giving up for today, i'll check my m/m books tomorrow.

Actually I misunderstood the rules when I first read them. It's harder then I thought. Still thinking. Trying not to do any challenges that require me to acquire any books. I have over 700 print books and over 500 ebooks so trying to read from those as a priority. But I'll think on it.

On my goodreads to read shelf the series name shows up as part of the book title link but it doesn't show up here.

I'll take the Author Initials, definitely, because they're part of the same name... but I'll vote no on the multiple author name. Sorry :-(

Here's my question since the directions say we can use the character name for letter choices, AND it's said we could use various parts for the Quickstops, could I use the character Zoe who is the lead in the Zoe Martinique series for my Z?

Yes, I'm keen to make the Quickstops as easy as possible because the rest of the challenge will be tough enough.

I am recycling post #5 for my list. I don't think I'll get all the way through the alphabet but I'll see how far I can go.

If anyone needs U, the Buchanans series by Susan Mallery is pretty good.

I'm not going to stress if I can't get them all. I'm just going to be on the look-out. I've already found a couple of authors I'd like to try...so, for me, that is the point.

So, theoretically, I could read the entire Kinsey Millhone series and only worry about the quickstops and W - Z. Almost seems like cheating.
