and started My Antonia
I waiting for my copy of Daughter of the Sword

Think I'm gonna go with Crusie & Mayer's Wild Ride next, hope some giggles will rehabilitate me. Crusie never cheats me out of a laugh, even if I don't always love the book.

Interesting selections Tara. I would not put Poison Study in with your other 2 selections. I really enjoyed Poison Study, though based on the reviews of others (I know, right?) I didn't continue the series. I probably should.
Personally, I am waiting on Mr. Weeks to finish that series before I pick it up. This is based on 2 things a) I don't trust authors to finish series and b) I hate having to re-read a series when new books come out.

I don't always care for re-reading a series either, but I also dislike reading a series back-to-back-to-back then getting burnt out on it.
Book People and their Problems, enh? =]

The author mentioned that he has more than a year to finish the third book and I am not sure if there is a fourth, however I don't mind reading an unfinished series as long as there is a plan to finish it.. I don't re-read the previous ones..
I also agree with Sophie, I usually don't read them back to back as well..
In terms of my choice reading Poison Study, I read plenty of book samples to decide on this one.. Guess it depends on my book mood nowadays :)

That has decent reviews.

I plan to read Daughter of the Sword next.

I also do a re-read: Elric saga by Michael Moorcock. I read it a very long time ago, I really need to refresh my memory before I rate it.

We read that as a group read. When you get to a point that spoilers are not a problem, you should check out the thread. :-)

Thanks just finished this morning and things are much clearer not crystal clear but clearer. The thread did help thank you. It would appear that a little confusion is the order of the day with this book and most of the readers felt the same as me at the outset, a stranger in a strange land. It would seem the conclusion left as many new questions as it answered leading me to believe the full story unravels as the chronicles continue.
