I think we have one for the ISBN (3 odd Numbers) I've just put Crown of Midnight on the goal less sheet and I think its just 3 odd numbers. Which would be lucky.

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments Finished Mrs. Saint Nick by Caroline Mickelson for the Sleigh goal. There was a lotta cheese in that 125 p. :)

message 861: by Stacey (new)

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments I was perusing the goalless books and the filled goals, and I don't see 2 of my books on either list. Fantasy in Death and The Mistake are not anywhere that I can find--although they are on my read books list. But I may have just missed them somewhere.

message 862: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Stacey thanks we are now up to date on the 25 days goals.

I need to add quite a few of the read books to the goalless books tab. I haven't had the time recently but I will try tomorrow. When a new goal has come up I have been checking each member's tab for unused books so I don't miss anything.

Stacey I read Blood Kiss (Black Dagger Legacy, #1) by J.R. Ward and it was so good, it was like reading an early BDB book, there wasn't about 25 different story lines and dizzying POV changes.

Anyone else hating the font ? It is hurting my head.

Thanks Grace. I just wanted to make sure I was putting everything in the right place.

Glad Blood Kiss was good, I miss the early BDB days. :) I'll put myself on the library hold list.

I'm doing okay with the font--but the links are so close to the same color, I'm struggling with finding them. I wonder why the change?

Stacey (boydsmom) | 1377 comments I'm going to read Christmas Eve at Friday Harbor (Friday Harbor, #1) by Lisa Kleypas next which would work for the lights I think. But I have to get through Uprooted first, so it may be next week before I get to it.

message 878: by megan (new)

megan | 1477 comments Hey Guys!
I'm sorry I haven't been as active the last couple of weeks. I traveled for work then spend a week at Walt Disney World with my husbands siblings and their families.
Good news: Today and tomorrow (17th & 18th) are my last two work days of the year, thanks to plant shut down. So, I will happily help take on another book or two for the 25 Days of Christmas Goal.

Here is my planned reading for the rest of the year:
Tonight I plan on finishing The Brief Wondrous Life of Oscar Wao for the 21st century books list.
I am starting The Paper Swan for the Backroom BOM
Then it's Uprooted as soon as I can get a copy.
And lastly, Balzac and the Little Chinese Seamstress for another team's East Asian destination book of the month

message 879: by Grace (new)

Grace (Calcat) | 665 comments Meg I am so jealous you got to go to Disney. I hope you had a wonderful time. We took the boys a couple of years ago and loved it. That is great you have a nice break from work. Your reading is more ecclectic than mine. I hope you enjoy them all.

I need to start The Paper Swan too (please be better than Bound and get back to Everything I Never Told You

I have lots of books still to read for a Scavenger hunt I need to sit down and get them read and not getting distracted. A lot of them are Christmas themed so I have been holding off starting them in case they fit the 25 days goals.

My boys finish school tomorrow until the 4th Jan so they have a Ju jitsu party tomorrow night then down to my Mum's until Monday and we get shopping time and I get a day with the girls on Sunday.

message 880: by Megan (new)

Megan | 1607 comments Oh wow I hope you had a lovely time Meg I am so so so jealous you got to go to Disney. I'm beginning my pestering for me and my boyfriend to go to New York in May. He hates traveling and I hate planes but I need to go to New York. i am so jealous you don't have to go to work for the rest of the year, I want an office hour job, I hate shifts!

I may venture out and go to the library tomorrow but it may depend on how tired I am. First night shifts are so hard. I hope you enjoy your day with the girls on Sunday Grace. I hope its relaxing for you!

OK the font on GR is now starting to wind me up. Its too rounded, if that makes sense. Finding it hard to read.

message 881: by Megan (new)

Megan | 1607 comments I've found An Evergreen Christmas it has a tree with lights on it so that should count for the latest Christmas goal. An Evergreen Christmas by Tanya Goodwin

message 882: by TheBookishFairy (new)

TheBookishFairy (Lauren) Sorry I've been a bit absent as well, even though Uni has broken up for the holidays, I have been at work full time since I broke up. As I work in a bookshop and it's Christmas, it has been very manic and busy. However, I am just over halfway through Clockwork Princess and All the Light We Cannot See both of which are books that I feel everyone else has read but me. I have the day off tomorrow and have absolutely no reason to leave the flat, so I am hoping to get as much reading done as possible.

Very jelous of you Meg getting to go to Disneyland, hope you had a fantastic time though! Megan, hopefully you can wear him down and go to New York, I would love to go as well, I've only heard amazing things about it!

I can also do Day 18 if you want as Sleigh Ride is on my must read list this month and is on the the 50 best Christmas songs list although if anyone else wants to cover this one let me know and I will hold off on starting that one.

We may do, I put the goals up just before I went home. So i didn't get any time to check. I did give a quick flick through but we'll have to try and get the goaless tabs all up to date. It just is a bit long to do so and I ran out of time to do it.
