Karen (winterscomin) | 125 comments I've now read 2, and unfortunately I can already tell that I won't be anywhere near finishing this list in just this month because I recently got myself a new part time job & my uni semester is starting up again soon so I will have zero time.
On the other hand, if I just manage 1 more book which is by an Aus author I'll at least meet my requirement :)

1) The book that's been on your list the longest The Gunslinger
2) A book recommended by a GR friend The Ocean at the End of the Lane
3) A book from your favourite genre The High Lord*
4) A book with over 400 pages The Novice*
5) A book by an author new to you The Magicians' Guild*
6) The book you want to read the most The Crimson Crown
7) A book by a male author The Rithmatist ~4 stars
8) A book by one of your favourite authors A Confusion of Princes*
9) A book by a female author Dragonkeeper*
10) A book with a cover you love The Archived ~3.5 stars
(11) A book set in Australia by an Aussie author)
12) A book set in another country The Armageddon Rag

PattyMacDotComma | 3243 comments 5 - Really enjoyed my #4 (400 pages) , Noah Hawley's mystery Before the Fall.

A private plane crashes and could have been the target of all kinds of attacks. Owner is rich, one passenger is accused of money-laundering, one is a poor artist who paints disasters.

Great read. My review

PattyMacDotComma | 3243 comments Delightful new book about families, disability, England. This is for #5, an author new to me: Emma Claire Sweeney. Her novel Owl Song at Dawn is inspired by her own twin sisters and is a solid 4.

The story of twins, possibly identical, but one has the fateful extra chromosome and other problems that limit her development but do nothing to dampen her spirit or her doting sister's.
