Set in England - always rainy, windy and cold!

Yep, bad weather and Gothic are like bread and butter :)

I finished reading The Clockwork Giant. There is a rainstorm that is described as a 'torrent', and the main character is soaked right away.
The kick was good, and there's another point for the Storm!

Happy dance in the Storm's end zone :)

A touchdown and the kick was good. Two points for the Artichokes!"
I wonder if Penni's book was meant to count for a team, maybe the Chokes since you mentioned them, Penni?
I did count Penni's book for the Artichokes. I think her question was meant to look for more green covers to read.
I finished reading
last night. Another score for the 'Chokes. The score is tied up again!
I finished reading

My apologies, Lanelle.

Maybe you can find a book with a green cover at the library? :)

I have my September plan - and not a one of my upcomings has green on it :-(

p 93 "The storm clouds were amassing, darkness threatened to drop on them at any moment...""
Oh, I just picked that book up from the library
Anyway, yesterday I finished:

which takes place over one night in New Orleans when a hurricane, Dorothy, comes by.

I'm so sorry you're not feeling well, but the Artichokes appreciate it!
That's two points for the Storm and one point for the 'Chokes.

thunderstorm, soaking rains, snow

rain, rumbling thunder, wind

I think it is easier to find a storm in a book than green cover, at least for me. I wasn't expecting it in one of the books I read, though I figured the Laura Ingalls Wilder one would be good for a storm or two!
