I am currently reading Searching for Faith by Kristen Middleton, The 13th Witch Trilogy by Stacey Thompson-Geer, SoulJacker by Yasmine Galenorn, and an audio book by River of Bones by Angela J. Townsend.

So far, I like them all very much. But today I may try a new one or two more. What about you guys?

message 2: by Julia (new)

Julia V (juliarosev) I'm currently reading The Night Circus

Not sure if it is technically YA but it really feels like one. It's my first fantasy book I've read in a while. I've noticed it on a lot of people's to read list. So far it's worth the read! I'm 1/4 done.

Up next on my list to read this week/next week: American Gods The Vintage Book of Contemporary World Poetry Broken for You

I have read The Night Circus. I enjoyed it too! We don't have to stick to YA in this group. I read many different genres myself.
If you like The Night Circus have you looked into Freeks.
I really liked this one too.

Melissa Tessman | 8 comments I am currently reading Small Great Things

Sheryl Wolford (assiduous-savant) | 24 comments I am currently reading Modec by Ralph Helfer. A trues story about the greatest Elephant That Ever Lived. and How To Be A Good Wife by Emma Chapman. The very first sentence leads one to believe that Marta may have some issues. and A Better World by Marcus Sakey. It is the second book in his Brilliance series. I am looking forward to seeing how the gifted and ungifted progress and grow in this book. I thoroughly enjoyed the first book.

So far, Something Like Voodoo has been pretty good. If you like witches and things like that. It is YA and interesting to me! High School can be a real witch! lol

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ Just finished Ends Here (Road to Nowhere, #2) by M. Robinson awesome book. Love the way Monica writes.

Currently reading Battlemage (The Age of Darkness Trilogy, #1) by Stephen Aryan. Long book but well written.

And up next are Hope and Red (Empire of Storms, #1) by Jon Skovron and Eleventh Grave in Moonlight (Charley Davidson, #11) by Darynda Jones.

Karen ⚜Mess⚜ Has anyone read any Penelope Ward/Vi Keeland books? Can you recommend them? I really want to read Stuck-Up Suit by Vi Keeland (my boyfriend is on the cover of that lol) and Mister Moneybags by Vi Keeland (just look at that cover!)

message 25: by Teresa (last edited Apr 28, 2017 05:34AM) (new)

Teresa (teresainohio) Camp So-and-So by Mary McCoy this book is confusing, perplexing and disjointed but at the same time I can't stop reading, there is a mystery ( not sure what) backstory of the campers ( not sure if that matters) and current situations that are a little not of this world ( I think) but I am about 1/4 done and highly recommend this book
( bubble bath book)

Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas just started this book as it is my car book ( Mom's taxi service) and read the prologue and 1st chapter, has my attention but screams ripped from the headlines

Hot Dog (Melanie Travis, #9) by Laurien Berenson another one I just started, this is my living room book LOL

and To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee read along with the freshman to make sure she understands it

this is my daughter's passion, she prays for the missing and has posters of the ones in our area, on my FB she reshares all the missing posters that are posted, she is gonna love this series.

Our passion for bringing the missing home is because this happened in my hometown Finding Me A Decade of Darkness, a Life Reclaimed A Memoir of the Cleveland Kidnappings by Michelle Knight because no one reported her missing and no one was looking for her She is remarkable and my daughter has met her twice. She even told her don't be sad you didnt know about me, just pray for all the missing. She also told her when you are older ( she was 12 at the time) come see me and I will have you help with my foundation for the missing

AshleyA (MamaNeedsBooks) (mamaneedsbooks) I am reading "13 Reasons Why" by Jay Asher. So far, so good.

message 37: by Teresa (new)

Teresa (teresainohio) just finished Dangerous Girls by Abigail Haas

this book could of been cheesy with a ripped from headline storyline and spring break gone wrong.

this story is more complex with the friendship between two girls. it could be seen as an obsessive relationship or controlling. with the murder taking place on forgein land against american showcases a different judicial sy s tem
cant recommend this book enough

AshleyA (MamaNeedsBooks) (mamaneedsbooks) I am finishing up "The Two Family House" by Lynda Cohen Loigman and not sure which book on my shelf I will pick next.
