I'm starting The Immeasurable Corpse of Nature by Christopher Slatsky. (He's a new to me author.)

This one which is a kick butt book so far:

And this one which is a little rough horror read:

You always come up with books that look new and amazing to me!
In addition to the Christopher Slatsky book, The Immeasurable Corpse of Nature, I'm also reading

Hi guys, happy new year of reading! :)
Was in a mood for a bit of a "who done it," about 8% in and enjoying it..
A secluded mountain lodge. The perfect getaway. So remote no one will ever find you.
The promise of a luxury vacation at a secluded wilderness spa has brought together eight lucky guests. But nothing is what they were led to believe. As a fierce storm barrels down and all contact with the outside is cut off, the guests fear that it’s not a getaway. It’s a trap.
Each one has a secret. Each one has something to hide. And now, as darkness closes in, they all have something to fear—including one another.
Alerted to the vanished party of strangers, homicide cop Mason Deniaud and search and rescue expert Callie Sutton must brave the brutal elements of the mountains to find them. But even Mason and Callie have no idea how precious time is. Because the clock is ticking, and one by one, the guests of Forest Shadow Lodge are being hunted. For them, surviving becomes part of a diabolical game. (less)

Me too. I'm using it as my 'S' book for the A-Z challenge so I have a good reason to finally get around to reading it.

For the first couple dozen pages or so I was beginning to wonder if I could slog through the 700 pages, 'cause it starts off weirrrrrrrd and uneven. But after a couple chapters the story settled down and I'm 100 pages in now and liking where things are going.

Also been putting this monster off. XD Maybe we need a buddy read?
Hey, is anyone else unable to update their reading progress on their profile page? The little bar is gone :(

it's not my usual thing, but I am determined this year to get through as much of my 'to read' list as I can! xD

One of my all time favorites.

I'm rereading it because the original version, for whatever reason, never made it out to the public. The author has told me there have been some changes to the novella, and now it will soon be available everywhere. Mark my words, John Boden is the real deal.
