This starts out fairly slowly with a lot of 'secrecy' around what MC Armand is - but of course, we always get there and the second half of the story picks up the pace and delivers entertainment and justice :)

I love a really good gay for you.
After getting threats, news anchor Xander needs a bodyguard. He turns to his best friends brother, Sean, a Chicago detective.
I loved how they danced around each other and I didnt like the cliffy at the end of the book.

Loved this. It gripped me from the beginning with a great plot line based on forgeries and stolen historic treasures, art thieves and FBI. The majority of the story is set in Greece, France and Hungary with a couple of beginning and ending scenes in the Napa CA and Hobby TX.

Narrated by Michael Dean. Excellent.

Review: Quite a ride! Loved how the Vice Magazine interview quote tied into the story (finding the goodness in a target to make them attractive, and being able to understand them). Makes it easier to see how some people make the decisions they do, how they go one way or another given the personality and influence of others in their lives.

Plot itself was a little OTT but I was in the mood for that.

I have to question my tastes from so many years ago. So many books that I've 5 starred would never make the cut now. That's the case with this one though I did enjoy it a whole lot. Not as deep as I'd like and something about Malcolm bugged me this time. Not sure what it was but there it is. Still a great read.
