Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

Team names aren't really my forte either haha. Could captain too but happy to leave it to someone in a time zone who's awake when shelf calls happen :-)

As for names how about The One Hitter Quitters? Or The One-touchables?

As for names how about The One Hitter Quitters? Or The One-touchables?"
The One-touchables makes me grin but I like both suggestions, thanks!!

Page Amount: 310
(shelved 2 times as paranormal-detective)

Book: Force of Nature by Jane Harper
Pages: 380
How it fits: the main character, Aaron Falk, is a federal police agent - and it's tagged detectives 63 times (not paranormal detectives, but this at least shows that he is really a detective :-))

Dead Witch Walking, Kim Harrison

Free Space

Book: Kings of the Wyld by Nicholas Eames

Even if it isn't as interesting as it sounds, at least it is finally a book off my shelves which I've had for a few years haha.

The Unholy, Heather Graham 4/29/23 ✮✮✮✮
Review I enjoyed spending time with the newest Krewe of Hunters! This was a fun mystery focusing around a film noir–type murder. Another solid book in this series and I’m looking forward to what’s to come.

Title: Third Grave Dead Ahead

An amazing ride from start to finish. I could barely put this down. Don’t you just love it when you find a book that you’d willingly lose sleep for?? So good! I love how quirky Charley is and her million and one comebacks, and the banter between her and pretty much anyone else she speaks to. I don’t even know how many times she made me cackle and/or roll me eyes (lol). This story was so well written it was a breeze to imagine myself in every scene. The plot was easy to follow and I found myself solving the case right alongside her.
I can’t wait to see what shenanigans she’s gets mixed up in next!
10/10 highly recommend

Dead Witch Walking, Kim Harrison 4/30/23 ✮✮✮✮
Review A good start to a new series from a new-to-me author. I’m interested to see the development of Rachel and her crew.

Hahah, thanks ;-)
And no, I refused. There wasn't enough in book one to even remotely make me want to continue unfortunately.

Review: Aaron Falk has grown on me in the first book and this book was no different. I enjoyed the setting, the atmosphere and the mystery - five women go out into the bushland for three days to hike as a team building event but only four of them return. The story was in alternating chapters between the current time line of Falk and his partner trying to solve the mystery of the disappearing woman and chapters describing what happened up to the moment where the woman disappeared. It kept me guessing, establishing theories and I enjoyed the ride a lot. Can't wait to get my hands on book #3!
