**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. I think most of you know each other, at least a little, but feel free to introduce yourself again. Please give any relevant information, especially time zone as that helps know when it is best to communicate. 😊

Please select a team leader to help keep track of where your team is in any given task. And as necessary guide discussions for task decisions. Any teammate can report your completions though. I will use the team leader as a point of contact if needed.

Remember, it is the team's responsibility to notify the host (me) if a teammate fails to complete the task in a timely manner or otherwise goes missing! I am not checking all the team threads regularly to notice and may only check when notified a task is complete.

PS - If you want to be known as anything other than Team 1, you are free to come up with a team name. 😉

Hi guys, I am here. Definitely not team leader material. Do we want a different name? How about 'Who needs Rum when there's wine!" (Ok, that may just be a personal preference!)

As a wine drinker Diane , I can get behind that, though it's a bit long 😂.

No pressure on anyone but how many books does everyone think they could read for this a week? I'm reading about 5 books a week right now.

I like both those authors, but have similar question to Dee.

Sorry guys, these are the first 10 tasks on the list. There's a good chance the first task will be to read a book by the same author.

8. Read 4 books with a beach on the cover.
9. Each player reads a book in the same series, teams decide. No pass for this task.
10. Read 4 books by authors' who write under more than one name (Nora Roberts/J.D. Robb).

Ok, looks like 1 and 9 are team decisions.

The series one might be a bit more difficult 😂 MountainKat did say the tasks given will be random so she might skip it.

For task 9, I’d suggest we pick a series that has various authors to choose from.

I find it interesting some tasks say 'each member' and some say 'read 4 books'. Does that mean potentially a member could read two for the team?

No, I means as a team whole there will be 4 books read

But in theory each of us should carry the weight of a task. When the task say 5 or more books…then some of us need to read more 😉
