Mexican Cruise. Wow, I bet that was nice!

We had a great time in New Orleans. My favorite thing was touring the oldest cemetery in the city. So interesting! We ate lots of good food too. Loved the beignets and Seafood Etouffe.

I’ve been to New Orleans nine times and that cemetery was fascinating. I also had seafood cheesecake at a restaurant called The Palace that was forced on me and I fell in love. The bayou tour was scary.

Nine times? I bet you know the city well. I would like to spend more time there, checking out some of the museums. We did get to see Mardi Gras World (fun) and the National World War II Museum (interesting but hard to find our way around it).

I love seafood and I like cheesecake, but that sounds like a strange combination.

I do know the city well. It changed a lot after Katrina.

My last visit before Katrina was work related. We were there to plan the sales trip for the top sales team for my company. So, we had a consultant taking us to a gazillion venues for consideration and the sites were trying to curry favor. It was outstanding. Hubby went to WWII Museum but he was there for a specific thing (which he found). We chose Mardi Gras World as one of our venues!

That seafood cheesecake? I was forced to eat it because it does sound awful. It was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Still remember it.

Glad you had a good time.
