"Hey...Alex." she said a smile came across her face.

"So, I have figured out what I'm bringing tomorrow." Alex said, smiling.

"Really? What?"

"A basketball." Alex announced proudly. It had taken him forever to come up with that.

"Really? Oh okay...what would we do with it?"

Alex shrugged before realizing that she couldn't see him, "We could play basketball, or toss it around, or look at it..." Alex suggested. He had no idea.

She let out a laugh, "Okay...great idea?" she really didn't think this was a good idea, when she was around a ball her werewolf senses kicked in and she would want to chase the ball, "Well...um can you bring something different?"

Alex sighed. He had run out of ideas. It was safe to say he wasn't creative. "Ok. I have to go figure it out." he said, then hung up. The quicker he got to thinking, the quicker he would have an idea.

"Wait-" he already hung up. She was gonna tell him he didn't have to bring anything. She looked at her phone at the previous number and jotted down his number for later.

Alex thought, and when he came up with nothing, he got back on the computer. when in doubt, ask Alissa is a rule he lived by.

Eli sighed and sat at her couch again thinking.

Eli decided to call Alex back.

Alex searched through his music collection.

Eli dialed his number.

Alex looked through his book of cd's 5 times, but couldn't decide.

Eli got frustrated and hung up the phone. Is he avoiding me?

((Did she call? I didn't know it had rang. Sorry!))

Alex paced, thinking.

((yup))

Eli sat back on the couch.

Alex called Eli. Ring, ring.

Eli picked up the phone, "Hello?!" she said a bit harshly.

"Hi, it's Alex. I was wondering...could I bring music?" he asked, a but uncertaintly.

Her voice became calm, "That would be perfect!"

"Ok...what kind of music do you like?" he asked.

"Um, I like pop."

Alex nodded to himself. "Pop. Ok, I got it." he said.

"Okay then, can't wait." she said enthusiastically.

Alex smiled, "Me neither. Now, i have to go." he said.

"Okay, see ya," she hung up. She actually had a date with mystery boy.

Alex hung up the phone, and went to search through his pop music.

Eli fell on the couch thinking to herself.

Eli grew tired and finally fell asleep.

((Well, they're like BEST freinds, and she hasno one else to talk to, so she is kinda jelouse, because she doesnt want to be forgotten.))

Alex slept in the tree at the park. He loved that tree, and sometimes he liked to camp there.

((oh ok))

The next day Eli woke up earlier than usual. She couldn't wait to meet Alex again. She started making the sandiwches that they would eat, and packed a few snacks.

Alex left his tree, his sactuary, and went back to his house to wash up, and get the cd he had pciked out.

Eli took a nice hot shower and then left the sandwiches in the fridge until she was ready to go.

Alex took a shower, combed his hair, and dressed in his best jeans and baby blue cotton button down shirt.

Eli put on her best summer dress and her favorite black shoes with clear stockings.

Alex looked at himself in the mirror, not bad he thought, then there was a knock on the door.

"Alissa." Alex said, smiling as he opened the door.

"Wanted to wish you luck." Alissa said.

"Well, I'm going to need it." Alex sighed.

Eli finshed dressing and took the sandwiches out the fridge. She packed some cookies and juices and put them in a sling bag that she slung around her back. She finally called Alex to confirm that he was ready and that they would meet at the park. Ring ring.

"Hello?" Alex answered as he waved goodbye to Alissa.

"You ready? Remember... we meet at the park!"

Alex nodded, "I am ready. I will meet you there in a few minutes, ok?" he said.

"Can't wait." she hung up and headed out the door.

Alex walked to the park.

Eli finally reached the park. She sat on a bench and waited for Alex.

Alex saw Eli, and smiled as he took a deep breath of fresh, dog free air, and walked over to her, "Hey." he said, smiling.

She smiled back, "Hello. You look really nice."

"Thanks, you too." he said as he sat next to her.
