"Thanks. So are we going to make it a real picnic or what?"

Alex shrugged, "I have no idea. Im not exactly creative, and the only reason i came up with the music idea was becasue Alissa helped me." Alex said.
"Alissa?" she said, curiousness in her words.
"She's been my best friend for 6 years." Alex said. "She is also good with both girl and guy things, so I asked her for some advice."
"Oh, okay." Eli said, "So I guess I better tell you my secret. That is why we had this picnic right?"
Alex looked at her sideways, "What do you mean?" he asked.
"Remember the agreement. You take me out on a picnic, I tell you my secret? The reason why you smell dog everytime you're around me?"
"Oh. And how do you know I have a secret?" he asked.
"I didn't say you did. Do you?"
She nodded, "Okay...so you do. I'll get mine done with and then let's hear from you. Deal?"
Alex sighed, "Um..." he said thinking. There was such a risk she would run away screaming...
"Come on, it can't be that bad! Mine is probably more shocking." she predicted.
Alex shrugged, "Fine, but dont say i didnt warn you."
She smiled relief, "Okay...my secret is...well... I'm a werewolf." she looked to see his response.
Alex stiffened. That explained everything. He was reluctant to say his part, so he just stared at her,completely dumbstruck. He was expecting anything but that.
"Well...I see you didn't take it pretty well...but anyway, what's your secret?"
"I'm a-a-a a vampire." he said, looking away.
Her face was total shock, "You serious? I had nooooooo idea! I wouldn't have guessed-I mean-whoah!" she then smiled. "At least we both have something in common."
"We are both make believe charcters to the humans who we live among."
"Yeah. So want to eat, or do you suck blood? I'm not really familiar with the vampire kind."
"Oh." she stammered, "Well good to know. If you're wondering about mua, well I eat regular food pretty much."
"Yeah, I guessed that much." Alex said.
"Yup, so...is the feasting part of this date going to start?" she was pretty hungry.
She got out a sandwich and handed it to him.
"Thanks." Alex said smiling as he took a bite.
She smiled back, "You're welcome." she took a sandwich for herself. She didn't eat much, she was still pondering what he said. A vampire..wow!
Alex thought. A werewolf. Well, at least it explained the smell.
She glanced at him, he seemed to be thinking about something too. She wondered what.
Alex smiled at her, "So, where are you from?" he asked.
"I'm from New York." she said, "No werewolfs there." she laughed. "And you?"
"I came here a few years ago from Alaska." Alex aswered.
"Oh cool, it must be freezing there."
"It was. I moved there because Italy was getting boring." Alex said.
"Italy? Wow, that must have been exciting."
"It was, for a little while, but the downside of living forever is that after awhile most of your favorite things loose their intrest." Alex said.
"Oh, right. Vampire." she almost forgot. "So how old are you?"
"Um...130." Alex said as he looked away.
"Wow, that's so...cool!" she beamed, "You don't look a day over 17."
