It pretty much work the same way as doing a link. You can check on the (some html is ok) pop-up, and follow the coding for a link.
Let me know if that is still confusing for you.

Good suggestion, Malia.
Just to help you out for now,
TBR - To-be-read
PNR - Paranormal Romance
M/M - Male/Male
Others I can think of:
UF - Urban Fantasy
HEA - Happily Ever After

H/H-Hero/Heroine
TSTL-Too Stupid To Live
IIRC-If I Recall/Remember Correctly
ARC-Advanced Reading Copy
IR-Interracial Romance
DNF-Did Not Finish
OOP-Out of Print

ROFLMAO Malia. Loved your comment here.

:-)"
Yes, thanks. I appreciate all of the other ones too. I'm not very literate in the abbreviations, although I did know a few. I think TSTL is hilarious, although in what context would you use that one?

there's lots of instances where TSTL works beautifully. It's hard to nail down specific examples sometimes but at the same time it's one of those things that when you are reading a book with a TSTL character in it (yes the hero can be too) you just know it and the word slips off your tongue (or your fingertips) and you realize it fits perfectly.
I'm reading one right now that the heroine was borderline TSTL. I almost put the book down twice because she did something really stupid (like run out of a cabin in the woods in the middle of the night to escape right after she's told mountain lions are everywhere. And of course, wouldn't you know she comes face to face with a lion soon after running out into unfamiliar woods and the hero has to rescue her, almost becoming dinner himself. There were otehr corcumstances around her runnign away that led her to make that decision hence why she was oinly borderlin TSTL but still...
There's one example for you.

Okay, now I get it, that explains it perfectly. I do recall at some point in time, wondering how the heroine could possibly be that stupid and clueless and still be alive! I seem to recall the book I'm thinking of was one where the author included certain thoughts the character was thinking that was happening right at that moment, like for example - "Get a Grip ," that sort of thing. I kept thinking that really, the character should gave gotten the hang of the grip by now and how a normal intelligent person would have gotten it chapters ago. I remember reading that book and sometimes thinking to myself, DUH!! I think it was an Iris Johansen book, but I do remember that the book was good and so I managed to get past it. I know sometimes, the slowness of the characters are essential to the plot, and that's not necessarily a bad thing, depending on the book.
I agree with you about the woods thing, too funny! It's like the girl hears noises in the house, and goes down to the basement. I've had several instances where I yelled out loud - "Don't go down there, you moron! What could you possibly be thinking?!!

TSTL = Stephanie Plum (for the most part)

I think Delicious Dee gave the right reason why we request for a repost than an edit. It's pretty easy to miss a re-edited post when there are so many people participating.
Plus we do updates, were we tally number of books read by members. Re-posting your list with the new changes really helps Mel W when she do the recording.

I haven't used the reading lists in the past for this. However, I've also spent 10 minutes trying to find my last thread to edit as well. Maybe this is a better idea than my going at it blind approach.

Pretty much when you feel you have made significant progress that it is time to make a new post. : )

I appreciate the response. I do use the list section. I also have my total book count per month in the 144 Book Group lists section.

It's an acronym of JR Ward's popular vampire series called The Black Dagger Brotherhood, thus BDB.

Sure you can.

Unless specified by the challenge, we do not have a minimum number of pages for books read. Some members used children's books if it fits a category. Novellas are also classified as an entry if a member chooses to use it.

Hope this will be of some help to all our members.

I have this great idea for a challenge. What can I do? You have several options.
1. You can go ahead and launch the challenge on your own by posting it in the appropriate folder.
2. You can suggest it in the Suggestions for Future Categories/Challenges.
3. You can message a coordinator and work out the details, and a coordinator can launch it for you.
