Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments anyone got any idea where steampunk such as Warrior would fit in? (fantasy maybe) - also would Mercy Thompson work for Multi-cultural/interracial since Mercy is part indian and Adam is of german descent (IIRC)...that is the one that is really stumping me right now

Well, it was the usual "place-switching" BC fare, nothing to write home about, but not that bad either.
I'm just now starting the Cartland cycle all over again after finding a bunch of her novels in my grandmother's attic. It's fun "reliving" the cringe-inspiring tales of our youth. ;)

Dee, Warrior is shelved 28 times as fantasy- and actually more times as PNR so you have a few choices for it :)

DDee - I was allowed Blaze of Memory for the interracial category 'cos of Devraj Santos - so perhaps Yz will similarly let Mercy through... :)

There are other interracial couples in the Psy-Changeling series, so you might fit one of the following books in this challenge wherever you are in the series:

Dee (austhokie) | 7316 comments the one i found is by morgan hunter it probably also fits into romantic suspense (not sure which one the emphsis is on right now), but its interracial - he's black (or at least half-black, his skin is described as being like cafe au lait) and she is white...called Are You Scared Yet? - hunter morgan

If I'm going to be really technical, its not a romance. It's more like a futuristic police procedural storyline with a strong romance thread woven in it.

But if you want to use it for the futuristic romance category, i'll give you a pass. After all, I'm always willing to promote Roarke to any reader. : )

I know!! LOL. I basically could fill every category right now with what's on my TBR. I even have a Nicholas Sparks' book at home! The sacrifices we make to fullfill a book reading challenge. LOL!

LOL! So true. I love that challenges like these open us up to unfamiliar genres & help us explore books out of our comfort zones. But some damn books I don't want to explore. Like the ER about the guy with two penises....I could've spent my whole life in bliss without reading that.
