Hi Jen, welcome to the group! We have two reads happening at the moment. We are reading A Town Like Alice (monthly read) through January, and Lorna Doone (tri-monthly longer read) from January to March.

Welcome Marjan! Great to have you join us. There are two group reads happening at the moment, as well as a nomination thread for the March read.

We are glad to have you join our group. You can certainly join the discussion on Lorna Doone. It is being read over a three month period, so you can join anytime.

Welcome Karen! It would be wonderful to have you join the read for Lorna Doone .

You can still comment on any group read discussions after they are technically over.
Alternatively you can start a buddy read.

Hello, I am Meregwyn. I recently finished Our Mutual Friend after six weeks and I loved it so much I didn't want it to end. I am currently reading Villette.
I am looking forward to reading more classics this year.

@meregwyn, we read Villette recently, and feel free to add any thoughts you have to the threads.
@dave, look forward to you joining in the discussions.

Welcome, Giselle. We will begin reading Treasure Island next week. It is a relatively short book and hopefully easy to read.

thanks! yes, that would be great!

Hi Elena,
Welcome to the group! I'll have to think about your question; though one possibility that comes to mind is The Call of the Wild. It's quite short so doesn't get too bogged down. Hopefully someone else will have more ideas for you.
