A Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ user asked Sophie Hannah:

I just finished reading Magpie Murders by Anthony Horowitz and he too uses a lot of Agatha Christie references. Is she kind of the gold standard for mystery writers?

Sophie Hannah Some writers feel she was a huge influence - I'm one, and so is Anthony Horowitz. But I believe there are others who have never even read her, so it definitely varies. I think she's the gold standard, though - absolutely!
