Jesse asked Nathaniel Luscombe:

Dude, congrats! Book that most inspires your writing?

Nathaniel Luscombe My writing has been inspired by many people. I first was determined to become an author when I read Eragon by Christopher Paolini. I think he was a major inspiration for a lot of aspiring writers. Combined with Rick Riordan, Kenneth Oppel, and Michael Crichton, I began to pull specific things out of their writing that I wanted to have. I wanted Paolini's character dynamics, Riordan's humour, Oppel's thrilling plots and cool concepts, and Crichton's pacing and style. I do not think I have successfully acquired this yet, but I think I am well on my way to becoming the author that I want to be.
