Rock Chick (TBR) - Light and fun. Start of a good series. This is a good book and not even my favorite of the series.

Where I Belong (NEW) - A favorite book of mine that is set in the summer. This is an enemies to lovers story.
My Coyote Ugly Life (NEW) - A funny book. The heroine is feisty and her antics drive the hero crazy.


Long Evenings with Beautiful Sunsets:
Wildest Dreams (TBR) - This is a long book (536 pages), but won't feel like it is taking long to read since it is a wonderful romantic fantasy by Kristen Ashley. The cover is also all blue except for the white letter.
Ransom (TBR) - This is a historical and also another long book.
The Hook Up (NEW) - The cover is pink and a really good story in a college setting.
Friend-Zoned (NEW) - A nice, romantic friends to lovers story.


Stormy Nights:
The Darkest Hour (TBR) - I haven't read this book yet, but it is also on my TBR. The blurb and title sounds like it will be a very intense read.
The Warlord Wants Forever (TBR) - Another intense story with vampires and demons.
For You (NEW) - Another KA story which I thought had an intense storyline.
Until November (NEW) - An intense story, also a little funny and a book with mostly gray on the cover.

Kaleidoscope Hearts TBR - artistic and pastel color cover
Never Never TBR - dreamlike artistic cover but the book was so good! Nothing like CH has ever written.
Eversea NEW - beautiful pastel cover and the best YA romance I have ever read. Sweet, beautiful and has a best first kiss scene ever written :) If you love YA romance, you have to read it!
Fangirl NEW - pastel cover obviously and brilliant book. RR is such a good storyteller! I loved every page of it.

Whisper to Me TBR - orange cover
Seduction and Snacks TBR - funny! A little over the top at places but still good laughs and hot romance.
One Reckless Summer NEW - perfect summer romance and great chemistry between characters. Toni Blake is one of my favorite contemporary authors
My One and Only NEW - Kristan Higgins writes the best light and fun contemporary romances. This is one of my favorite stand alones by her and there is always a dog :)

Me Before You TBR - a different kind of love story that sucked me in wholly. One of my favorite books ever.
Unteachable TBR - I loved the lyrical and flowing writing of this forbidden love story. It was beautiful and romantic.
On the Island NEW - blue cover. This is an unique love story but I truly enjoyed this book.
Game for Marriage NEW - another blue cover . I don't read much sports romances but this book was hot!

Hearts in Darkness TBR - short
The Darkest Minds TBR - dark cover, dark title
The Restorer NEW - dark cover. Great mystery/ghost story with a good characters and some sweet romance
The Opportunist NEW - this was an intense book with and so deliciously twisted and brutal without the sweet, lame and bubbly love story.

TBR - Polar Bared - I like Eve Langlais' stories. I need to read more by her!
NEW - The Year We Fell Down - I'm not normally a fan of New Adult romances, but this was a surprisingly enjoyable series for me. This is a lovely slow burner which I hope will appeal to you.

Sunny Days at the Beach:
TBR - Just Like Heaven - I enjoyed this light, frothy read. :)
NEW - Control - This was recommended to me last month and now I'm passing this forward. It's HOT! I would totally read this on the beach. :D

Long Evenings with Beautiful Sunsets:
TBR - Never Too Hot - Ok this looks romantic as heck! :D I added it to my TBR.
NEW - Falling Off the Face of the Earth - Absolutely beautiful story told with warmth and gentle humour. Not sure how important sex in a book is to you though. Fair warning, this has no sex and is a very long book. But it is oh-so-good!

Stormy Nights:
TBR - You Get Full Credit For Being Alive - I enjoyed this a lot. It had a fun summer blockbuster movie feel with a lot of action. Forget about logic!
NEW - Muscling Through - A short but charming story. :)

Hi Penney! Thanks for the great picks! I discovered when I looked them over that I managed to forget to remove a bunch of books that I read this month from my shelf, and of course you picked several of them. No problem though, it was my fault completely (sleep deprivation has become a way of life for me lately) and even with those removed you still gave me plenty to choose from. I'm definitely planning on Just Like Heaven and probably Master of the Night for next month, and several more look very interesting, too! Thanks again!
