We had 2 sick team members last week, so we ended up not being able to do the first 2 safe zones, but no books were started (that I can tell) prior to the countdown books being finished. We don't know if we misunderstand the rules or what. Could someone please look and tell us what we did to lose those points? Thanks.

This may be a question best asked in the Does this book fit thread and then post the task you want plus the cover of the book. Otherwise, it is >50% yellow on Tineye for yellow cover.

Lava Ladies Round 2 spreadsheet indicates regen2 (light pink) of 60 but not added to total - Regeneration (dark pink) is 0


Lava Ladies on team status sheet has team points without regeneration points


Am I reading this correct?

COUNTDOWN STAGE - WE ARE ALMOST AT ZERO!


Remember....
We start off by shouting "The Floor is Lava! In 10-9-8-7-6-5-4-3-2-1-0!"
By the time the counter is 0, the floor is Lava and if your team hasn't read the required books, [that is, the 10 books in the countdown stage], your team will be stuck in the lava (i.e. lose points).



ZERO for round 3 is Friday 13th Sept, 9pm AEST for CRATER and MAGMA teams. Countdown is

You don't need to read a replacement, just prepare to apply healing cream, and read on :)

Sarah | 2082 comments Hey mods, just letting you know that I fixed a couple of formulas in the spreadsheet for The Great Tectonics. The books read count was off- the extra rows added for safe zone 1 weren't included in the formula in cell I5, so I changed the second count to D20:D25.

Also the points for safe zone 1 were not computing, so I fixed that too. The formula in cell G26 needed to sum G20:G25.

I'm guessing this is going to affect everyone's spreadsheets.

So glad you didn't pick wombats. They are not so cute, especially when they make their home under the verandah and dig, dig, dig... (very cranky face!)

Very jealous, I have never seen one. We just have rats here in Boston.

Yes, we have them as well... Definitely not so cute either.

And we also have the other monotreme - platypuses in our river. You don't see them so often now, they were plentiful when the husband was a boy.

I was near Nowra last weekend at my husband's aunts house and she has quite a few wombats that have made a home on her property. Cube poo everywhere!!! And very large holes - had to warn the kids about playing out there.
It is so dry that all the animals are coming into these more built up areas so more wombats and all of her fruit trees were bare at the bottom from the wallabies eating the leaves :(

Just confirming that there is no Bonus for doing Safe Zone Group 1 in Round 4?
(Round 2 and 3 mentioned it in the announcements but Round 4 doesn't.)

I don't do... can you prick your finger on a sword?

Just saying is lucky this is Lava and not Towers, cause you would have won a few negative points for your team with that one :P

Can you still join the DQs and earn points for regeneration, or do you have to be able to read or re-read the book before joining in the discussion?
