As a reminder, here is how you may earn additional participation points in this challenge.

Read any book by the champion. If you read and review ANY book by the champion AT ANY POINT in 2022 - earn 20 points.

Read and review books during a given round prior to the final 4 (i.e. 64, 32, 16, 8) by an author still in the running and earn points as follows:

2 pts for reading one author in a bracket of your choice
4 pts for reading a second author in a different bracket
6 pts for reading a third author in a third bracket
8 pts for reading a fourth author in the final bracket

Once you have read an author, you may no longer read that author for challenge participation points going forward. In other words, one book per author for participation points, regardless of the round. Points are additive so if you read two books from two different brackets, you will earn 6 pts.

Please help us to accurately track your earned participation points. Each round, I will post a new thread for you to use for tracking.

Please create a personal post following the model below and edit as needed to track your reads for round one. We will use your post to tally your points and add them to our spreadsheet. The points you generate in this first round will be added to the spreadsheet along with the points earned in March and thus reflected shortly after April 1.

Update: After January 15th or so, I'm going to delete messages that aren't specifically for scoring just to make the scoring as efficient as possible. But right now, Q&A on this thread is fine.
