A couple of books that come to mind for the Chick Lit > Featuring Travel genre are...
Lizzy and Jane by Katherine Reay (one character travels home to help her sister)
The Heart Between Us Two Sisters, One Heart Transplant, and a Bucket List by Lindsay Harrel (a character travels around the world)

Anyone else have some suggestions as well?

For Chick lit and travel with older heroines check out Robin Jones Gunn's Sisterchicks series.

The Plans We Made by Kathryn Cushman (it is listed as Women's fictions, which I would think would count as chick lit, and one of the women moves (travels) across the country).

message 17: by Karen (new)

Karen | 1144 comments January (chick lit - travel) - Journey Back to Christmas by Leigh Duncan. Time travel for this one - hope it fits the category.

Question - how do I include the book in my comment?

message 18: by Andrea, Hospitality Coordinator (new)

Andrea Cox (andreacox) | 5913 comments Mod
Karen, on the desktop version of Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ, there is an "add book/author" link above the comment box. In the pop-up window, there are options for "link" and "cover" at the bottom. Select the one you want and then use the search box in the pop-up window to find the book you want and then click "add" next to the book.

This cannot be done via the Å·±¦ÓéÀÖ app, from what I've heard.

message 19: by Karen (new)

Karen | 1144 comments Thanks Andrea - I really appreciate the help. Unfortunately I don't see the link above the comment box on my desktop version. Guess I will just have to stay with text only.

Is the book I selected acceptable for this category? Definitely chick lit and the travel is time travel.

Yes, ma'am, that book works great.

message 21: by Georgann (new)

Georgann Sample Platter for me. For this first challenge, I would highly recommend the Sister Chick books by Robin Jones Gunn. It is a series, but only very loosely. Characters from previous books make brief cameos. My favorite was Sisterchicks Do the Hula. Also I would recommend The Yada Yada Prayer Group (Yada Yada Prayer Group, Book 1) by Neta Jackson The Yada Yada Prayer Group. This was a great series and I loved every book in it. I put 2 books on hold from the library for this challenge. I'll see what I can do!

That would count for the Genre of the Month and if you're also participating in Reading the Rainbow, its red cover, so you'd also to use this book for that.
