First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Gosh I can't remember that but I do remember taking my Aunt's Danielle Steele novel to my 3rd grade class and reading it under my desk. I got in big trouble. I think that was probably my first taste. I know for sure I didn't even understand all of what was going on in that book. LOL!
Favorite Romance Genre: Don't have one. I love to read them all.
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because....I buy way more than I could read. I never entered a book store in my life without purchasing something. I find it hard to visit websites without purchasing. And the biggy is that we have a private bathroom at work and I found myself so caught up in a book that I once went in there and stood for like fifteen minutes reading. I did it in intervals all day. Sick I know!

It was a few years ago when I started getting into paranormal romance, and I can not remember which series got me started. I was furious because as I was reading I kept knowing what was going to happen and could not figure out why. About chapter 4 it came to me; I had seen the movie about 5 yrs prior. Awesome book (and movie), I've been hooked on romance ever since.

I make trips to the library once a week, I have a ebook reader, I have books in my house, car, purse and work lest I be without one, I am constantly trying to find the "NEXT" book to read even though my TBR pile is HUGE and I'd rather be reading than watching TV, which is saying a lot. My husband still hasn't adjusted.

First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Oh, it was a Harlequin Romance that I picked up at Grandma's - Unwilling Bridegroom. The next was A Rose in Winter that I read in high school. One of my friends made me read Whitney My Love and after that I was hooked!

First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): Although I'm not sure if it's considered part of the Romance Genre, The Twilight series is what pushed me into the Romance section.
Favorite Romance Genre: It changes constantly. I'll read a bunch of paranormal but then I need a change so I'll move on to historical and when I'm tired of knights and propriety I'll move on to Contemporary or maybe back to Paranormal etc...
Finish the line: I know I'm a book addict because...I'm currently reading 3 books at one time, one on my iPhone (its with me at all times), one on tape (great for workouts or cleaning) and one actual book (because I just love the smell and feel of real book!)....no I don't get them confused.

First Romance Novel Read (that you can remember): I really can't remember, but I believe it was a Harlequin series novel and the main characters were Michael and Jennie. Outside of Harlequin, I think the first thick(er) romance novel I read was "Love Only Once" by Johanna Lindsey.
Favorite Romance Genre: I like pretty much anything, actually - historical, paranormal, fantasy. If pressed, I might say historical romance is my absolute fave. Least fave would be contemporary or out-and-out erotica.
Finished the line: I know I'm a book addict because I either have a book with me (or access to the books on my Kindle) no matter where I go or what I'm doing, my Amazon wish list for books alone is 13 pages long, I own and have read literally hundreds of books, and there are few things I'd rather be doing than reading. :)

I have to do that, too, Kelly! LOL. I get the packages and then sneak the books onto my bookshelf so he won't notice. He thinks it's senseless for me to buy more books when my to-read list is already over 130 books...but I say you can never have too many!

(raises hand) I hide my books from my husband,too. He's one of those annoying people who doesn't buy a book unless he intends to read it right away. Then he reads it. Period.
How boring is that?
Of course, it's silly to hide the Amazon boxes, because he is the one who goes over the credit card statements. But when I buy in cash and quickly sneak them onto the shelves or into one of the TBR piles he's none the wiser.

I thought I was being sneaky with adding books to a pile in our bedroom yesterday. My wife picked up a book to read last night from the ever growing Mt. Toberead and asked me about the book sale. "What book sale?" I asked. Producing the receipt from inside the front cover as evidence she responded, "This one."

Busted.

I will go out and buy books because I feel like I have nothing to read.."

that is me!!! I have well over 150 books in my closet that need to be read. I aways buy more cause they are not what I am in the mood for.. haha

I know I'm addicted most of all because I bought that Kindle for myself for Christmas just so I could read more smut without getting hassled by my family for how smutty my reading has become. I've gone from romance to m/f erotica to m/f/m to m/m/f to m/m. This is how they told me drugs worked when I was a kid. Maybe I should join a support group:)

Amora, welcome. Is that how it (the erotica addiction) starts?!?! Uh oh, I'm in trouble. I've gone from m/f erotica to m/f/m erotica. So, I still have a couple more steps to go. However, do not feel alone I would be the individual sitting to your right in that support group! I recently got into the erotica and I believe my first book was Lorelei James'es Cowgirl Up and Ride. I wasn't aware that it was quite that erotic, but ended up loving the book. I bought the rest of the series and now all the books I buy are either erotic, paranormal or most of the times both. I would gladly join your Erotica Anonymous group.
