Here we go with a brand new book! The Stolen Girl is the second instalment in the DI Jo Shaw series and the sequel to (Lambda and Goldie award winning and really rather fun!). It sees Jo picking herself up and launching herself straight into another investigation, whilst trying to sort out her relationship with the lovely Ms Isla Munro. The cover is done and dusted, the manuscript is currently with my editor, and it’s all kicking off in June, 2025, my friends.

I woke up to the news that A Calculated Risk had scooped the Lambda award for LGBTQ Best Mystery at last night’s ceremony, and I’m absolutely chuffed to bits.

Bold Strokes are kicking off 2024 with a five day Zoom book fest featuring loads of panels, readings and general shenanigans. There’s a jam-packed schedule and the sessions are all free to attend.

A Calculated Risk has had a rather bumpy road to publication, not least of which has been Amazon’s last minute sabotaging of all its pre-orders. But it HAS been published today and it is now available to buy from anywhere and everywhere.

If you have been unfortunate enough to have your pre-order cancelled, please do re-order it. The kindle versions are being delivered without problems no matter what Amazon have said in their stupid bloody email.
