Unbreakable Cover Reveal!

2020 has been an utterly craptastic year, but I am endlessly cheered by the fact that I got this book written, and look! It has a lovely cover

New Book, ‘Unbreakable, on the way in 2021!

Thanks to this craptastic year, it’s been a while since I’ve had any book news, but I recently pulled on my big girl knickers, committed to a deadline, and signed a contract with Bold Strokes for book number 9 (crikey!)

Unbreakable will be out in October 2021 (tentative date I know it’s a long time off, please don’t kill me.) It’s a standalone thriller/police procedural, with not two but three lovely leading ladies, and its blurb goes like this:

Dr. Grace Kendal never stands a chance. The inju...

With the UK BSB online book bash just a couple of weeks away (June 6-7th!), attending authors will be blogging on the theme of Change right up until the event. My blog was posted on the UK BSB site yesterday it’s a little look at what happens when you start cheating on one story with another

You can also head to check out the list of authors signed up for the event. The schedule has been finalised and you should be able to register for each panel soon.

BSB UK Annual Book Fest

Thanks to the current worldwide lurgy, the annual UK BSB Bash in Nottingham has sadly (but very sensibly) been cancelled so no one can sneeze on anyone.

HOWEVER, plans are afoot for an online Zoom-style event to take place over that very same weekend (June 6th-7th). More details to follow but if you want to see me standing on one leg whilst dressed in my PJs and swearing a blue streak because our craptastic internet has dropped out again, then mark that date in your calendar.

Author Stands on Own Cover

We were out walking on Stanage Edge yesterday and I knew the cover shot from No Good Reason had been taken somewhere along this route. My missus has a far better eye for this kind of thing and made me stand on a pillar I was absolutely certain WAS NOT THE ONE. Very happy to admit that I was wrong

Also happy to say that there were no unconscious kidnap vics at any point on the way along, and that there were quite a few climbers dangling precariously from the rocks.

Good Book News

This week has been a very happy one for me, with Breathe being one of Autostraddle’s , and Alias scooping not only Best Thriller/Mystery at this year’s Rainbow Awards, but best Lesbian Book as well.

Sometimes, I get so knackered, I need a good kick up the arse to keep writing. This was three good kicks in one
